SPORTIVES and CHARITY
CycleOut members take part in many Charity events and Sportives throughout the season. These are a great way of challenging yourself and collecting a medal whilst raising money for a good cause.
Some of the rides may be familiar to you as they are well publicised national events such as RideLondon. Others may be new to you, so it's a great way to get involved in something fun and significant. See the list of events below.
RideLondon, the world’s greatest festival of cycling, has an electric atmosphere generated by the pedal power of more than 20,000 riders taking the challenge. This year the routes were through the rolling Essex countryside as well as the capital.

Sams Ride is an annual, friendly, non-competitive charity Sportive in aid of the Samaritans. The routes take riders through the picture-postcard-perfect countryside of Wiltshire.
Levels: 2, 3 and 4

The Revolution loop starts in London and quickly heads out to the beautiful surrounding countryside.
The distance can be split across two action-packed days – 88.4 miles and then 68.5 miles – called the Weekender OR if you’re looking for something extra challenging and wish to attempt all 156.9 miles in one go, then the ULTRA is for you.

Distance: 88.4/68.5 miles (over 2 days) or 156.9 miles (1 day)
Location: Start and finish Lee Valley. Route circumnavigates outskirts of London

The Pride in London parade happens during the summer and CycleOut participates. We will have approximately 30 cyclists riding and walking the route. It is an amazing fun day to celebrate LGBTQIA+ sports.
The year 2022 is significant for the Pride movement and the LGBTQIA+ community as it is 50 years since the first Pride took place in the United Kingdom.

The Dunwich Dynamo is an annual semi-organised, through-the-night (hence "Dynamo") bicycle ride from London Fields park in Hackney to Dunwich on the Suffolk coast.
Levels: 3 and 4
Distance: 112 miles (180 km)
Location: Start London Fields park in Hackney
When: Overnight on Saturday/Sunday mid July, 9 pm start
