ITALY 2017

In October 2017 a CycleOut group flew out to Italy for a week’s cycling.  We were based in a good hotel in Cattolica on the Adriatic coast, in the province of Rimini. 

 

Each day we had rides, led by three or four professional cycling guides.  Highlights included a ride to the hilltop Renaissance city of Urbino one day and to San Marino on another. San Marino is a tiny and ancient independent republic, landlocked within mainland Italy, perched on a huge rocky outcrop.  With professional guides we had no navigating to do. And we even had the traffic held up for us at roundabouts!
